All Warnings Have Come True! Why Societies Grow More Fragile And Vulnerable to Collapse As Time Passes

Even some of our brightest scientific minds are projecting that there is absolutely no positive future for our civilization if we stay on our current course.  Perhaps one of the reasons why our society has become so obsessed with short-term results is because most of us can’t bear to think about the long-term consequences of our actions.  I have a website that focuses on “economic collapse”, but it isn’t just the economy that is headed for catastrophe.  Virtually every aspect of our society is coming apart at the seams all around us, and the era that we are moving into will be more nightmarish than most people would dare to imagine.  But our political leaders continue to insist that everything is going to work out just fine somehow, and most people choose to believe them.

This week, an old MIT study from 1972 that projected that our civilization will collapse at some point during the 21st century made headlines on several major news sites…

In 1972, a team of MIT scientists got together to study the risks of civilizational collapse. Their system dynamics model published by the Club of Rome identified impending ‘limits to growth’ (LtG) that meant industrial civilization was on track to collapse sometime within the 21st century, due to overexploitation of planetary resources.

In particular, the study identified a period of time “around 2040” when societal collapse would be very likely…

The study was published in the Yale Journal of Industrial Ecology in November 2020 and is available on the KPMG website. It concludes that the current business-as-usual trajectory of global civilization is heading toward the terminal decline of economic growth within the coming decade—and at worst, could trigger societal collapse by around 2040.

Of course events are not going to transpire exactly as they foresaw, but as far as the big picture is concerned they were right on the money.

Our society is now in the process of collapsing all around us, and you can see evidence of this everywhere that you look.

This week, civil unrest is causing widespread chaos in the streets in Cuba, South Africa, Beirut and Paris.  We have entered a period of time when it seems like people are perpetually angry, and the wild scenes that are playing out around the globe are absolutely shocking.

Here in the United States, we are in the midst of a crazy crime wave.  Murder rates in our major cities rose by an average of 30 percent in 2020, and they are up another 24 percent so far in 2024.  Extreme violence has become a way of life in many of our largest metropolitan areas, and this is particularly true in the city of Chicago…

A Chicago rapper died after suffering as many as 64 bullet wounds to his head and other parts of his body in what police are calling an ambush shooting just as he was released from jail.

Londre Sylvester, 31, who is known by his stage name KTS Dre, was one of three people who were shot just outside Cook County Jail in the Little Village section of Chicago on Saturday.

Chicago police seem powerless to stop the endless violence, but of course the same could be said about many other police departments around the country.

The streets of our biggest cities are becoming war zones, and what we have experienced so far is just the beginning.

Meanwhile, we are dealing with the worst epidemic of illegal drugs in our history.  If you can believe it, drug overdose deaths were up nearly 30 percent last year…

Drug-overdose deaths in the U.S. surged nearly 30% in 2020, the tragic result of a deadlier supply and the destabilizing effects of the Covid-19 pandemic, according to preliminary federal data and public health officials.

The estimated 93,331 deaths from drug overdoses last year, a record high, represent the sharpest annual increase in at least three decades, and compare with an estimated toll of 72,151 deaths in 2019, according to provisional overdose-drug data released Wednesday by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Drug overdose deaths were already at an all-time high coming into 2020.

So for the number of deaths to rise 30 percent above that level in just one year is really, really tragic.

At the same time, our system of public education continues to rapidly deteriorate.

Earlier today, I was shocked to learn that 41 percent of all high school students in Baltimore have a grade point average that is below 1.0…

Project Baltimore obtained a chart assembled by Baltimore City Schools. The chart shows the average GPA for every high school grade in the city – freshman through senior. In the first three quarters of this past school year, according to the chart, 41% of all Baltimore City high school students, earned below a 1.0 grade point average. In other words, nearly half of the 20,500 public high school students in Baltimore earned less than a D average.

“It’s heartbreaking,” said Patterson. “If almost half of our kids are failing, what options do they have after high school? This is really disheartening. It’s sad to see this.”

I don’t just want to single out Baltimore, because that isn’t fair.

All across this once great country of ours, public schools are completely and utterly failing our kids.  The vast majority of our high school graduates cannot read, write or speak coherently, and that simply should not be happening in the wealthiest nation on the entire planet.

Switching gears, authorities up in Canada are dealing with a different form of social decay.  For years, I have been warning that Christians in the western world would soon face the same sort of extreme persecution that Christians in other parts of the globe are forced to endure, and now it is starting to happen.

In recent weeks, individuals that are apparently motivated by a deep hatred for Christians have been setting churches on fire all over Canada…

Terrorists are attacking and burning down churches across Canada with impunity.

It’s a reality most Canadians only thought possible for Middle Eastern countries like Syria, where ISIS has bombarded and razed dozens of Christian heritage sites in the name of Islam.

We haven’t seen anything quite like this before.  According to Keean Bexte, a total of 45 Canadian churches have been burned just since the beginning of June…

The Counter Signal has kept a close eye on these terrorist attacks, reporting on the scene just hours after a fire in a refugee church.

Our information shows that since June, there have been 45 attacks on Christian and mainly Roman Catholic congregations. Of those, 17 of them have been scorched or burnt to a crisp in suspicious circumstances.

The corporate media should accept responsibility for their role in provoking these attacks.

For years, the corporate media has been relentlessly demonizing conservative Christians, and churches are the most visible symbols of conservative Christian culture in our society.

As the corporate media continues to blame conservative Christians for society’s ills, it is inevitable that there will be more attacks on churches in the future.

But of course there will be more violence everywhere around us as our society continues to steadily unravel.

I have never seen as much anger, frustration and hate as I am seeing right now, and there is no future for a society in which virtually everyone is filled with rage.

The years ahead are going to be extremely chaotic, and I would suggest that you plan accordingly.

A Horror Story Would be if All the ATMs Stopped Working And Most People Started Delirious. (Money plays such an important role in our lives that most of us could not imagine surviving without it.)

Money plays such an important role in our lives that most of us could not imagine surviving without it. Yet that is exactly what you need to do if you want to prepare for an economic condition called deflation.

Deflation is the term economists use to describe a “general decline in prices, often caused by a reduction in the supply of money or credit.” A good way to think of deflation is as the opposite of inflation. Inflation occurs when there is too much money in circulation, which destroys its value and raises prices. When deflation occurs, there is too little money available, which often causes prices to collapse and the economy to shut down.

In severe cases of deflation there can be no money available at all not — even at the banks. This nightmare actually occurred during the Great Depression of the 1930s, when there were places in the United States where there was no cash available at all. More recently, it has happened in Greece, where ATMs ran out of cash and where banks placed limits on the amount of money that could be withdrawn.

People had no money to pay bills or buy food for their families. Employers had no money to pay employees, customers had no money to buy goods, and many people were reduced to bartering to survive. During the Great Depression, farmers would pay professionals such as mechanics and doctors with food because they had no money and no credit.

The situation got so bad that in some areas of the country, local governments, chambers of commerce and businesses issued their own currencies — the so-called depression scrip. The scrip often took the form of pieces of paper that people used as money because there was no government currency available. The scrip was used to pay workers or buy goods.

At one point during the Great Depression, the money shortage got so severe that the US government considered issuing a national scrip as an alternative to the dollar. That plan was eventually dropped and the government solved the crisis by simply printing more dollars.

Many people have known survivors of the Great Depression who liked to keep large amounts of cash on hand. Others would hoard food and other items. Those people developed that habit because they remembered what life without money was like. The fear of the deflation that occurred in the 1930s haunted them all of their lives.

The frightening reality is that the threat of deflation is still real. Some knowledgeable individuals, such as wealth preservation experts Will and Bill Bonner, believe that a sudden deflation leading to a national or international money shortage is still possible today.

The Bonners, who have studied some of the world’s knowledgeable investors such as George Soros, believe that the next financial crisis will begin with a “violent monetary shock” similar to the one that occurred during the Great Depression. They predict that money could suddenly disappear overnight, causing the economy to come to a grinding halt.

    What Happens When Money Vanishes

Historical accounts of the Great Depression show us some of the possible effects of such a violent monetary shock. The damage caused by such a violent deflation can include:

The sudden collapse of prices. The Great Depression began with the collapse of stock market prices in 1929. That was preceded by the collapse of agricultural prices in the United States during the 1920s. During that crisis, land prices in rural areas collapsed, causing large numbers of rural banks to fail. When the banks failed, the government liquidated them and their assets, which included lots of foreclosed farmland, an action that further drove prices and made the crisis worse.

    soup kitchen

Everything you have — your investments, your home and your possessions — could suddenly lose all of its value. We saw this happen during the mortgage bubble of 2007-2008, when many people found themselves “underwater.” That occurs when the amount a home is mortgaged for exceeds the property’s value.

The collapse in prices during the Great Depression particularly hurt farmers who relied on commodity prices. Newsreels from the early 1930s show farmers dumping grain on the ground and pouring out milk because they could not sell them.

Bank runs and the collapse of financial institutions. A bank run or banking panic occurs when all of a bank’s depositors try to take their money out at once. Bank runs often trigger the collapse of financial institutions, which prompts even more bank runs. Between 1930 and 1933 nearly 10,000 banks failed or were suspended. The panic got so bad that President Franklin D. Roosevelt actually suspended all bank transactions in the US between March 6 and March 10, 1933 to prevent further runs in his so-called “bank holiday.”

During the banking crisis of the 1930s, many Americans lost their life savings simply because they were not able to get to the bank fast enough and withdraw their money. Even some wealthy individuals ended up on the streets and in bread lines because they could not get money from the bank.

Massive unemployment. It is a simple and obvious fact that when there is no money, there are no jobs. At the height of the Great Depression in 1933, 24.75 percent of the nation’s labor force, or one in four workers, were unemployed. Around 12.83 million people were out of work at a time when America’s total population was only around 93 million people. That unemployment persisted for years, with 8.1 million Americans still out of work in 1940 in the 11th year of the Great Depression. The unemployment created by the Depression only ended when World War II created “jobs” in the form of the draft and war production.

Hunger and Starvation. Not surprisingly, hunger and in some cases death from starvation can become a problem after deflation. Historians disagree on the number of people who died during the Great Depression.

depression -- storing food -- pinterestDOTcom

Massive expansion of government and its power. In his first 100 days in office in 1933, Roosevelt signed 15 major pieces of legislation, several of which established massive new bureaucracies. During the 1920s there were 553,000 civilian employees of the federal government, but by 1940 the federal government had more than 1 million civilian employees. For the first time in American history, the federal government even tried to set prices for products under the National Recovery Act. The government also told farmers what to grow under the Agricultural Adjustment Act. Those laws were so blatantly unconstitutional that the US Supreme Court struck them down in 1935 and 1936.

Increased taxation. When money disappears government gets desperate and imposes more and taxes in an attempt to squeeze more money out of the economy. During the Depression, the maximum income tax rate was raised from 20 percent to 55 percent, gift taxes were increased from .75 percent to 33.5 percent, and new taxes were levied on automobiles, gasoline, telegrams, telephone calls and even checks. By 1934, the United States had the highest tax rates in the world. In 1935 taxes were raised again. Historian Murray Rothbard estimates that the effective tax rate in the United States increased from 16 percent to 29 percent during the Depression.

Why it Could Be Worse Today

If such an event were to occur in today’s world, it could be far worse than the Great Depression.

People were far more self-sufficient in the 1930s, as large numbers of families lived on farms and grew their own food. Even many Americans who lived in town maintained gardens and chicken coops. In those days people also hunted for meat, canned and preserved their own food and baked their own bread. People also sewed their own clothes and fixed their own cars, which gave them a high level of self-sufficiency.

Today, most Americans rely solely on supermarkets for food, and many families no longer even cook. Few people bother to sew, and most of us do not even change the oil in our cars. If our money were to disappear, we would be as helpless as children.

It’s time that we learn the lessons of the Americans who survived the Great Depression. That lesson was to be as self-sufficient as possible so you can survive, no matter what.

America – The Greatest Nation on Earth – is Currently Facing Unprecedented Times of Social Unrest, And Dare I Say, This is Just the Beginning: TOP 6 Rules of Surviving Martial Law

America – the greatest nation on earth – is currently facing unprecedented times of social unrest, and dare I say, this is just the beginning.

Regardless of who presides over the nation, we should always be aware of the so-called “shadow government” and their agenda. And mark my words: Our nation is in for times of massive unrest that were being plotted as early as 2015 and will continue until the “global agenda” pursued by George Soros and his allies is implemented.  The coming out-of-control riots may lead to a call for Martial Law, as I will explain.

America has been preparing for massive social uprisings for a very long time (a quick research on the topic will reveal this truth). What I am about to tell you next might come as a surprise for some of you, but most of the things that we experience are being manufactured.

Never in my lifetime have I seen America so divided.

Our politicians and the mainstream media have been endlessly pitting various groups against one another for years, and everywhere you look, hearts are growing very cold.

    protester-riot-unrest

Trump’s victory has come as a surprise for many, but if we consider the new state of play of the world, where the economic crisis has led to global divisions driving, thus, a return to national interests over the global ones, voting for Trump has been the obvious choice. During difficult times, we must safeguard the values and interests of the American people. But manufacturing nation-wide protests during confusing times may be just what some might wish for in order to divide and destabilize the country in exchange for the ability to control us at all times. In case we don’t comply with their “desires” we will face dire consequences, as the infamous Zbigniew Brzezinski, the imperialist/globalist/war-monger and former policy advisor to Obama, said:

“Today, it is infinitely easier to kill a million people than to control a million people”.

After some extensive research on the matter, I am inclined to affirm that what we’re currently experiencing is just the beginning, and the protests are rapidly turning into violent riots. Although many commentators are claiming that martial law will not be declared, we can never be sure of what is being planned for us.

Did you know that if martial law is declared, Trump will be prevented from taking office?

Returning to the fact that Soros is behind most of the protesters’ actions, we must acknowledge that the fundamental reason for inciting violence is to create favorable circumstances for the President to legitimately institute martial law if the riots continue on the same path. This is how it will work:

    • The current protests are spreading rapidly, and when there is an increase in both violence and numbers, this movement will inevitably grow into a national riot.
    • If needed, due to extensive clashes, martial law will be declared. Therefore, when this happens, Trump will not be able to take office because Obama will stay in power for however long is necessary until the “National State of Emergency” has passed (Bernstein), (AMBELLAS). There is a good chance that this has been the back-up plan for some liberals all along (as mentioned earlier, there’s proof the protests are being staged) in order to further advance the globalist agenda that has been denied by our President-elect Trump.

So, here’s a glimpse of how life will be when martial law comes into effect:

    • Everything we own can become federal property (especially guns and food stockpiles, which will be the first to be confiscated).
    • Curfews will be the new normal, while groups of armed men and women will patrol the streets at all times.
    • Access to food, water and other resources will be rationed. If your life depends on a daily dose of medication, you should start storing it in advance. Attention: This bug will kill most Americans in the coming crisis.
    • There will be sky-high inflation, and with a national debt of almost $20 trillion, the stage is set to sky-rocket a new financial crisis that will make the 1930s Depression look like a walk in the park.
    • Everyone will be considered suspicious. A short chit-chat with your neighbor about the “wrong” things can put your life on the line.
    • There will be no access to free Internet, while free press and the freedom of speech will be things of the past

The 6 Golden Rules of Surviving Martial Law

Prepper or no prepper, these are the 6 Golden Rules to follow if martial law comes to your town:

         1. First and foremost, talk with no one and trust no one.

Although the clear majority of preppers are already set to outlast any scenario that cuts them off from all the common supply lines, we must remember that under martial Law, everything that we own is able to become government property. Therefore, do not tell people about your supplies or secret hide-outs. I know it’s hard not to brag about your preps, but be careful to whom you’re talking

         2. Always renew your supplies and make sure you have a “basic martial law survival kit.”

A basic martial law survival kit would imply the following: electricity generator, water filters or even water generators (H2O Dynamo), weapons, food supplies for six months, first aid supplies, clothing for any type of weather, a flashlight, batteries, radio gear, and navigation equipment. Of course, you’ll need these if you want to stay put. If you want to go outside and face the music…that’s a different story.

         3. Avoid getting in the way of law enforcement or the military.

Even though some would advise that we be resilient to any violations of your constitutional rights, which, by the way, will be justified under martial law, the best survival tactics are to keep your cool and think before you react. You can always choose to fight back. These two options – bugging in or bugging out – will cause you to probably face the hardest decision of your life.

         4. Tune in and be up to date with the news.

It is crucial to stay informed and keep in touch with whomever you consider important. Every media outlet, as well as the Internet, will be controlled by the federal government, and you will not have access to any other information except what is being communicated by the state. Although this might be upsetting, you still need to know what is going to happen so you can be prepared for any situation.

         5. Cautiously develop a survival network.

Establishing a survival network would be an excellent idea considering the fact that we can never know for how long martial law will be imposed. Consequently, setting up a diverse group of preppers will ensure your long-term survival. But make sure you keep a low profile so that you and your group will not be targeted as perpetrators.

         6. Inspect and know your surroundings by heart.

You should be able to visualize your home turf even in your sleep. Ideally, you would also have a safe room. Make sure you have a blueprint of your area where you mark the closest escape routes, develop the quickest itinerary to a safe haven, and formulate the best and safest evacuation strategy.

  • First Signs You’re Being Tracked By 3-Letter Agencies (To spot surveillance you need to look beyond the obvious)

First Signs You’re Being Tracked By 3-Letter Agencies (To spot surveillance you need to look beyond the obvious)

The CIA. The DIA. The NSA. The FBI. The DHS. Even the IRS. Our government employs a whole alphabet of agencies that go by TLAs (Three Letter Abbreviations) and those agencies spend a disturbing amount of time watching what we’re doing. Are they watching you?

It’s a sad fact that people who value preparedness and self-reliance don’t always have the best relationship with the federal government, which often resents the fact we don’t trust it to look after us. The government likes people to depend on it for everything, and preppers don’t.

If you’re a prepper and you’ve joined any discussions online, formed a local group or done anything else that might attract the government’s attention, you might be under surveillance.

If you are under surveillance, it’s vital that you know this. If you know you’re being watched then you can take steps to make sure the surveillance doesn’t compromise your prepping.

Of course you should pay attention to personal security anyway, but avoiding surveillance means taking that to a much higher level – it isn’t something you want to be doing if you don’t have to. So how can you spot surveillance?

I’ll say this right now: If you’re being watched by a professional intelligence agency, confirming the surveillance is going to be hard. These people have advanced equipment and, more importantly, good training.

They put a lot of effort into not being detected by the people they’re watching, so you have a difficult task ahead of you. It isn’t impossible, though; with some effort, you can detect – and even evade – most types of surveillance.

    Cyber Surveillance

Signs You’re Being Tracked By 3-Letter Agencies

Most of us do a lot online now.

Whether it’s for banking, shopping or just keeping in touch with people, the internet plays a big role in our lives.

That means surveillance of your online activity can tell an agency a lot about you.

Automated software can build network diagrams showing your contacts; intelligence analysts can then exploit those.

Knowing what you’re buying can give clues about what you’re planning, or flag you for a list of people with resources that can be confiscated or weapons that can be seized. Even checking a route online can tell  where your bugout location is.

Some basic security precautions will give you a lot of protection against cyber surveillance. A virtual private network (VPN) will hide your location and the IP addresses of your devices. A good firewall and anti-malware software will make it harder for agencies to access data on your computer.

However, there’s a real danger from trojans. These malicious programs pretend to be something else, so you let them through your defenses – and, once they’re on your device, they can do a lot of harm.

Trojans used by intelligence agencies include keyloggers, which record every keystroke you make then send it to the agency that’s watching you. This won’t just tell them what you’re saying to people; it will also give them all your passwords.

If your security software is too strong to break through, there are also hardware keyloggers. If an agency really wants to monitor you they might try to break into your home and install one.

Check your PC regularly for any small pieces of hardware you don’t recognize – especially a small device plugged in between the PC and keyboard. If one of these appears, you’re being watched.

    Bugging

Signs You’re Being Tracked By 3-Letter Agencies

Getting at you through your electronic devices is the most modern way agencies will try to monitor you, but it’s a long way from being the only one.

Intelligence officers also like to use microphones and covert cameras to collect information.

Technology has made these devices very small and very powerful; using wireless technology they can transmit real-time audio and video without needing cables.

Modern batteries mean a long operational life; some can even be powered wirelessly from outside your property, giving them infinite endurance. Today’s bugs and cameras are tiny, and they can be extremely hard to detect.

There are three ways agents can place bugs in your home, and two of them involve breaking in. If they break in, they’ll be careful to leave as little sign as possible; unless you’re very alert to small traces of a disturbance you may never know the intrusion has happened.

If you do notice signs of a subtle break-in, and nothing seems to be missing, you should suspect that listening devices or cameras have been planted. If your home is cluttered or untidy, agents might leave small, everyday objects like pens – but with surveillance equipment concealed inside.

They might even insert devices into your own belongings. Cameras will be given away by tiny holes, no bigger than the point of a pencil. Microphones are even harder to detect.

Alternatively, devices can be hidden in the structure of your home. Look for signs of minor damage or patches of fresh or discolored paint that weren’t there before; surveillance gear could be concealed behind them.

If your home is secure against break-ins, even by a skilled intruder who can overcome locks and alarm systems, there are still surveillance options.

Signs You’re Being Tracked By 3-Letter Agencies

Tiny cameras can be stuck to the outside of a window, and their fish-eye lenses will show them the whole room.

These are usually attached in the corners of window panes and they’re very small. Keep windows clean, and check regularly for small objects or bird droppings stuck to the glass.

Look for damage or repainting on outside walls, too. Microphones can be inserted into tiny holes drilled in external walls and penetrating almost – but not quite – all the way through. These microphones often have short aerials made of thin wire, to let them transmit signals to a nearby receiver.

The traces of modern covert microphones or cameras are very subtle. To spot them, you need to be careful and thorough. Don’t overlook more everyday technology, though.

Devices like Apple AirTags were designed to help people keep track of their valuables and find lost items. They’re coin-size devices with a year’s worth of battery life; they use Bluetooth and near-field communications to report their location to any nearby Apple device – and that device will then forward the message to the AirTag’s controller.

AirTags have been abused by stalkers and car thieves; intelligence agencies use them too. If a target finds an AirTag hidden in their car they’ll know someone is tracking them, but as a commercial product it doesn’t have obvious CIA fingerprints on it.

That said, if you find an AirTag glued under your car, and you don’t have an expensive vehicle or any obsessive admirers, it could have been a federal agent who glued it there.

    Physical Surveillance

The most worrying thing of all is to be under physical surveillance – to be followed wherever you go by agents. If that’s happening to you, and you know about it, it’s bad.

Signs You’re Being Tracked By 3-Letter Agencies

If you don’t know about it, it’s much worse. Wherever you go, whoever you meet and whatever you do will be known to your watchers.

You need to know how to spot surveillance. The problem is, of course, that surveillance-trained agents have been taught to avoid being spotted.

Forget anything you’ve seen in a movie; if you’re being followed it won’t be a single man in a trench coat who stops to look in shop windows whenever you do. Surveillance will be carried out by a team of four or six watchers.

There will be at least one in front and one behind, with others moving along parallel routes. Every so often they’ll rotate positions, so you don’t notice the same person behind you all the time.

And, if you stop to look in a shop window, the agent behind you will just walk right past and a new one, who’s been paralleling you one block over, will move in behind when you start walking again.

Meanwhile the one who walked past will turn off at the next corner, start paralleling you, and while he waits to be called in again – because the whole team will be chatting constantly on covert radios – he’ll change his appearance. He’ll put on a jacket, take off his hat, pull an empty shopping bag from his pocket and carry it.

To spot surveillance you need to look beyond the obvious – the jackets or hats people are wearing – and notice things that can’t be quickly changed. Focus on people’s height, and the way they walk; once you’re familiar with someone’s gait you can recognize them by it hundreds of feet away.

If you see someone behind you, and then half an hour later you see them in front or coming out of a side street, wearing a different jacket, there’s a good chance they’re a watcher.

Signs You’re Being Tracked By 3-Letter Agencies

Mobile surveillance – in cars – works the same way as foot surveillance, but it’s harder to change the appearance of a car.

A magnetically attached license plate can be switched in a few seconds, but make and color are permanent and that makes surveillance cars easier to spot.

Agents doing mobile surveillance don’t stop for long enough to do things like add or remove bumper stickers and other distinguishing marks, so their cars won’t have any.

They’ll be as anonymous-looking as possible, usually economy or mid-range sedans with no visible damage, aftermarket accessories or anything else that might catch the eye. Just be aware that the engine is probably a lot more powerful than the trim suggests.

Something to watch for is vehicles that overtake, then hold position a few hundred yards in front of you.

Any vehicle that comes out of a side road either in front or behind, then stays at the same distance from you (and it won’t be too close) should be noted, and if you see the same car pop out twice then it’s likely a surveillance car.

Again, mobile watchers will rotate in and out of the route you’re on, and use parallels to keep up with you.

From all this, it’s obvious that detecting professional surveillance isn’t easy. If you’re not looking out for it you’ll never notice it’s rare.

If you are looking out for it, though, you stand a good chance of detecting the watchers. You just need to know what to look for – and now you do.

Must Watch! Humanity Strays Dangerously Close to the Nuclear Trigger (We Are Seeing Nuclear Regional Powers Preparing to Cross Swords.)

I originally wrote this article several years ago, but have just decided to pull it back into the daylight, brush it off, and update it for several reasons … Once again humanity strays dangerously close to the nuclear trigger … Let’s discuss this and much more!

It has been many years since the so called Cold War ended. This was a time in global history when the world’s population hung on the precipice of Nuclear annihilation with the two great nuclear superpowers both wielding enough mega-tonnage to destroy all life on this planet many times over. With the collapse of the old USSR this possibility or probability faded quickly from our consciousness.

Now it would seem that once again there are those within the US power structure who feel a limited regional nuclear first strike (Ukraine to Russia), is not only possible but viable. We are also seeing nuclear regional powers preparing to cross swords. Yet we look at the damage to this planet and its biosphere being facilitated by one mechanism of disaster, Fukushima, and we see major health implications and massive aquatic die offs underway.

Attention: The US is Facing The BIGGEST Threat Of The Century

War Is Just Around The Corner

You’re about to lose everything you’ve worked so hard for your entire life and it’s even not going to be your fault! – your house, your car, your credit card will be worthless…

So pay chose attention because this video will change your life forever for the good!

Now imagine the fallout from even a limited Nuclear strike of the magnitude required to incapacitate a nation such as Russia or China, that being enough warheads to decapitate the retaliatory capability of either or both of these nations. This would require strikes across both nations and many of them …. Say goodbye to humanity.

The sheer arrogance of these individuals amazes and astounds any rational person. The massive volume of peer reviewed research available on this topic is mind boggling. The result of sitting on the precipice of destruction for several generations facilitated a mountain of information on the subject and none of it was promising for humanity, thus the phrase Mutually Assured Destruction (MAD) was coined and it became common knowledge that humanity as we know it, could not survive even a so-called limited preemptive strike.

Whether it is preemptive (to negate a potential enemies capability to strike first) to prevent a sneak attack, or subversive (to rob a nation or nations of their economic or regional influence) to assert or reassert political, economic or military control, it is all of humanity that will surely suffer the fatality of this insanity.

The mere thought that this is once again being considered a viable option in any scenario screams volumes as to the convoluted mindset of those who pull the strings of power in the western world today. The bottom line must be that we are no longer discussing whether or not we will leave a better world for our children … we are now discussing if we will leave ANY world for our children !!!

What you are about to watch in this short video is the catastrophic results of even a very limited nuclear weapons exchange … say Ukraine & Russia, or Pakistan & India … to the global biosphere and humanity itself … watch, learn and let this sink in …

Is this insane willingness to utilize these weapons out of desperation to maintain economic control in the face of the global collapse of the dollar? Is this unbridled arrogance by these elite who foresee the shift of power from the west to the east facilitating the ruination of their global economic empires? Or will this be a concerted effort to (as many of us discuss) massively reduce the global population?

In any case the end result is the demise of humanity itself. Even if these elite manage to survive the inescapable Holocaust they would unleash tucked away in the underground bunkers, with the failure of Nuclear power plants across the planet inevitable, this planet would be poisonous and fatal to any remaining humanity for countless generations or centuries into the future …

We are already painfully aware of the blight on this planet being caused by such destructive mechanisms as failing Nuclear Power facilities, Geo-engineering (weather modification) and Genetically Modified Organisms. But these are slow kill scenarios when compared to the immediacy of the Nuclear War option (even on a limited scale).

While those destructive mechanisms mentioned above may take decades or even generations to facilitated the downfall of a vast majority of humanity, a large Nuclear exchange would accomplish this in a matter of months to just a few years … with a very large portion of the global population being eliminated in very short order and the remaining dying off of starvation or sickness in the few years following this fiasco.

The attached article was written several years ago … if anything the global scenario is much more bleak today. After all the Washington deep state mindset today portends that if anything goes wrong … ANYTHING … blame it on the Russians … Right … and to this day it continues to escalate! The value in this article (below), and why I selected it, is its comprehensive and highly descriptive breakdown … in chronological order, of the catastrophic scenario that will inevitably play out once a nuclear exchange commences …

… and an explanation of why it very well may be conceivable that this scenario is being considered a viable option today …

It’s time to get angry … its time to get vocal !!!

    Stockpiled US Nuclear Weapons

    The Lethality of Nuclear Weapons

Author’s note: Paul Craig Roberts held top security clearances. He has repeatedly warned that a US-Russian nuclear war would wipe out the human race, along with all other complex forms of life. As a scientist with expert knowledge, I wish to echo and explain his warning.

    By: Steven Starr

Nuclear war has no winner. Beginning in 2006, several of the world’s leading climatologists (at Rutgers, UCLA, John Hopkins University, and the University of Colorado-Boulder) published a series of studies that evaluated the long-term environmental consequences of a nuclear war, including baseline scenarios fought with merely 1% of the explosive power in the US and/or Russian launch-ready nuclear arsenals. They concluded that the consequences of even a “small” nuclear war would include catastrophic disruptions of global climate[i] and massive destruction of Earth’s protective ozone layer[ii]. These and more recent studies predict that global agriculture would be so negatively affected by such a war, a global famine would result, which would cause up to 2 billion people to starve to death. [iii]

FEMA Emergency Alert! Hidden Terrible Situations Exposed- Watch the video below to find out the most shocking details!!!

With a whopping 1.03 million home invasions occurring every year in just the U.S. alone, there’s no reason you shouldn’t have a plan of action ready to utilize in case you become one of these unfortunate victims.

So pay chose attention because this video will change your life forever for the good!

These peer-reviewed studies – which were analyzed by the best scientists in the world and found to be without error – also predict that a war fought with less than half of US or Russian strategic nuclear weapons would destroy the human race.[iv] In other words, a US-Russian nuclear war would create such extreme long-term damage to the global environment that it would leave the Earth uninhabitable for humans and most animal forms of life.

A recent article in the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists, “Self-assured destruction: The climate impacts of nuclear war”,[v] begins by stating:

“A nuclear war between Russia and the United States, even after the arsenal reductions planned under New START, could produce a nuclear winter. Hence, an attack by either side could be suicidal, resulting in self-assured destruction.”

In 2009, I wrote an article[vi] for the International Commission on Nuclear Non-proliferation and Disarmament that summarizes the findings of these studies. It explains that nuclear firestorms would produce millions of tons of smoke, which would rise above cloud level and form a global stratospheric smoke layer that would rapidly encircle the Earth. The smoke layer would remain for at least a decade, and it would act to destroy the protective ozone layer (vastly increasing the UV-B reaching Earth[vii]) as well as block warming sunlight, thus creating Ice Age weather conditions that would last 10 years or longer.

Following a US-Russian nuclear war, temperatures in the central US and Eurasia would fall below freezing every day for one to three years; the intense cold would completely eliminate growing seasons for a decade or longer. No crops could be grown, leading to a famine that would kill most humans and large animal populations.

Electromagnetic pulse from high-altitude nuclear detonations would destroy the integrated circuits in all modern electronic devices[viii], including those in commercial nuclear power plants. Every nuclear reactor would almost instantly meltdown; every nuclear spent fuel pool (which contain many times more radioactivity than found in the reactors) would boil-off, releasing vast amounts of long-lived radioactivity. The fallout would make most of the US and Europe uninhabitable. Of course, the survivors of the nuclear war would be starving to death anyway.

Once nuclear weapons were introduced into a US-Russian conflict, there would be little chance that a nuclear holocaust could be avoided. Theories of “limited nuclear war” and “nuclear de-escalation” are unrealistic.[ix] In 2010 the Bush administration modified US strategic doctrine from a retaliatory role to permit preemptive nuclear attack, and Counterforce doctrine[x] – used by both the US and Russian military – emphasizes the need for preemptive strikes once nuclear war begins. Both sides would be under immense pressure to launch a preemptive nuclear first-strike once military hostilities had commenced, especially if nuclear weapons had already been used on the battlefield.

Both the US and Russia each have 400 to 500 launch-ready ballistic missiles armed with a total of at least 1800 strategic nuclear warheads,[xi] which can be launched with only a few minutes warning.[xii] Both the US and Russian Presidents are accompanied 24/7 by military officers carrying a “nuclear briefcase”, which allows them to transmit the permission order to launch in a matter of seconds.

Yet top political leaders and policymakers of both the US and Russia seem to be unaware that their launch-ready nuclear weapons represent a self-destruct mechanism for the human race. For example, in 2010, I was able to publicly question the chief negotiators of the New START treaty, Russian Ambassador Anatoly Antonov and (then) US Assistant Secretary of State, Rose Gottemoeller, during their joint briefing at the UN (during the Non-Proliferation Treaty Review Conference). I asked them if they were familiar with the recent peer-reviewed studies that predicted the detonation of less than 1% of the explosive power contained in the operational and deployed U.S. and Russian nuclear forces would cause catastrophic changes in the global climate, and that a nuclear war fought with their strategic nuclear weapons would kill most people on Earth. They both answered “no.”

More recently, on April 20, 2014, I asked the same question and received the same answer from the US officials sent to brief representatives of the NGOS at the Non-Proliferation Treaty Preparatory Committee meeting at the UN. None of the US officials at the briefing were aware of the studies. Those present included top officials of the National Security Council.

It is frightening that President Obama and his administration appear unaware that the world’s leading scientists have for years predicted that a nuclear war fought with the US and/or Russian strategic nuclear arsenal means the end of human history. Do they not know of the existential threat these arsenals pose to the human race . . . or do they choose to remain silent because this fact doesn’t fit into their official narratives? We hear only about terrorist threats that could destroy a city with an atomic bomb, while the threat of human extinction from nuclear war is never mentioned – even when the US and Russia are each running huge nuclear war games in preparation for a US-Russian war.

Even more frightening is the fact that the neocons running US foreign policy believe that the US has “nuclear primacy” over Russia; that is, the US could successfully launch a nuclear sneak attack against Russian (and Chinese) nuclear forces and completely destroy them. This theory was articulated in 2006 in “The Rise of U.S. Nuclear Primacy”, which was published in Foreign Affairs by the Council on Foreign Relations.[xiii] By concluding that the Russians and Chinese would be unable to retaliate, or if some small part of their forces remained, would not risk a second US attack by retaliating, the article invites nuclear war.

Colonel Valery Yarynich (who was in charge of security of the Soviet/Russian nuclear command and control systems for 7 years) asked me to help him write a rebuttal, which was titled “Nuclear Primacy is a Fallacy”.[xiv] Colonel Yarynich, who was on the Soviet General Staff and did war planning for the USSR, concluded that the “Primacy” article used faulty methodology and erroneous assumptions, thus invalidating its conclusions. My contribution lay in my knowledge of the recently published (in 2006) studies, which predicted even a “successful” nuclear first-strike, which destroyed 100% of the opposing sides nuclear weapons, would cause the citizens of the side that “won” the nuclear war to perish from nuclear famine, just as would the rest of humanity.

Although the nuclear primacy article created quite a backlash in Russia, leading to a public speech by the Russian Foreign Minister, the story was essentially not covered in the US press. We were unable to get our rebuttal published by US media. The question remains as to whether the US nuclear primacy asserted in the article has been accepted as a fact by the US political and military establishment. Such acceptance would explain the recklessness of US policy toward Russia and China.

Thus we find ourselves in a situation in which those who are in charge of our nuclear arsenal seem not to understand that they can end human history if they choose to push the button. Most of the American public also remains completely unaware of this deadly threat. The uninformed are leading the uninformed toward the abyss of extinction.

US public schools have not taught students about nuclear weapons for more than 20 years. The last time nuclear war was discussed or debated in a US Presidential election was sometime in the last century. Thus, most people do not know that a single strategic nuclear weapon can easily ignite a massive firestorm over 100 square miles, and that the US and Russia each have many thousands of these weapons ready for immediate use.

Meanwhile, neoconservative ideology has kept the US at war during the entire 21st century. It has led to the expansion of US/NATO forces to the very borders of Russia, a huge mistake that has consequently revived the Cold War. A hallmark of neconservatism is that America is the “indispensable nation”, as evidenced by the neoconservative belief in “American exceptionalism”, which essentially asserts that Americans are superior to all other peoples, that American interests and values should reign supreme in the world.

At a past West Point speech, Ex-President Obama said, “I believe in American exceptionalism with every fiber of my being.” Obama stated his bottom line is that “America must always lead on the world stage,” and “the backbone of that leadership always will be the military.” American exceptionalism based on might, not diplomacy, on hard power, not soft, is precisely the hubris and arrogance that could lead to the termination of human life. Washington’s determination to prevent the rise of Russia and China, as set out in the Brzezinski and Wolfowitz doctrines, is a recipe for nuclear war.

The need is dire for the president of the US, Russia, or China to state in a highly public forum that the existence of nuclear weapons creates the possibility of their use and that their use in war would likely mean human extinction. As nuclear war has no winners, the weapons should be banned and destroyed before they destroy all of us.

Starr has published in the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists and the Strategic Arms Reduction (STAR) website of the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology. He has a website on the environmental consequences of nuclear war.

On December 6th President Trump’s words shook the world.

For the first time in over 2000 years, Jerusalem was recognized as the capital of Israel.

Whether he knows it or not, President Trump fulfilled his part in a frightening biblical prophecy exactly as the scriptures predicted.

Only the top church leaders and Bible scholars know the real meaning behind this great and terrible moment, yet no one is saying a thing about it…

40 Bizarre Home Remedies Our Grandparents Taught Us That Actually Work

These days, it has become all too common for people to reach for a pill bottle or call the doctor anytime something goes wrong, or even for the smallest scrape. The simple, wacky home remedies of our grandparents, those weird concoctions formed from everyday household goods, are often mocked by today’s medical establishment. But surprisingly, the truth is that our grandparents actually knew a lot more about the world than we give them credit for, and many of these old-fashioned folk remedies actually work. Not just that, but many of them work better than the synthetic pharmaceuticals that so many people stuff their bodies with today.

Here are 40 weird, wacky, but shockingly effective home remedies that still work today, and would make grandma proud.

    1. Use Garlic and Olive Oil for Athlete’s Foot

Everyone knows about the many health benefits of garlic, but did you know that it can fix your athlete’s foot problem in a jiffy? Just mince some garlic cloves, mix them with natural olive oil, and then use bit of cotton to rub this mixture onto the affected area between the toes.

    2. Potato Slices for Headaches

Headaches and/or migraines can ruin even the best day, but there is a weird natural solution that works: potato slices. Just cut a few slices from a raw potato, soak them in a very thin cloth, and apply them to your forehead or directly to the temples.

    3. Ease Cuticle Infections with Vinegar

Done too much manicuring? Cuticles all torn up and infected? Make a glass of vinegar and warm water, then put your fingers in it for about 15 minutes. Repeat this procedure once a day or so until the infection fades away.

    4. Use Vinegar to Cure Swimmer’s Ear

There’s nothing that ruins a good day at the beach like coming home with swimmer’s ear. But when your grandparents told you to drop some vinegar in your ears, they weren’t kidding. The acidic properties of vinegar can kill off that awful swimmer’s ear bacteria, leaving you feeling like yourself again. Just take out some white vinegar, dilute it with distilled water, and put three drops into the problematic ear, three times a day, until the problem fades.

    5. Olive Oil for Eczema

Feeling itchy already? Eczema can make anyone grow crazy. But olive oil, which is full of antioxidants and often used as an ingredient in professional skin creams, isn’t just good for athlete’s foot: it can ease the symptoms of eczema as well. Simply rub some olive oil onto the eczema-affected areas of your skin, and it should help quite a bit.

    6. Fix Hiccups with a Spoonful of Sugar

Yes, seriously. The legends are true. Don’t get too overzealous with it, because diabetes isn’t something to mess around with, but this old-fashioned trick will halt the hiccups in their tracks. The reason why is because the behavior we call “hiccups” are actually just spasms of your diaphragm, so having a spoon of dry sugar will throw off the nerve muscles and cure their agitation.

    7. Get rid of warts with duct tape

It sounds crazy, but it works. Instead of going to all the work to get your warts frozen off, just covered them with duct tape. After cleaning a wart off, just apply a strip of the tape to the affected area, and then keep it there for three days. After that, remove, rub the wart area with a pumice stone, and then apply new tape.  Continue this process every three days until the wart goes the way of the dinosaurs.

    8. Treat Acne with Coconut Oil

Coconut oil might seem like the cool new kid on the block, but it’s actually an old-timer that’s been around since the 1800s. In addition to many other uses, coconut oil is an effective treatment for acne, since its antibiotic properties prevent further breakouts. Just apply coconut oil to the skin, maybe mixing it with a little raw honey.

    9. Have a Little Yogurt for That Bad Breath

Bad breath, officially known as halitosis, is a terrible thing to live with. But the cure for it is right there in your fridge: yogurt. At least two servings a day of this probiotic wonder, ideally a plain brand with no sugar, changes the landscape of your tongue so that it won’t breed any more the bad bacteria that produces that distinctive stink.

    10. Deal with bug bites by using toothpaste

Well, not technically the toothpaste itself, but rather, the peppermint oil inside the toothpaste: if you have the pure peppermint oil itself, that’s even more effective. Either way, applying peppermint oil to a bug bite—even if it’s just through dabbing on a little toothpaste – will immediately reduce the raw itchiness we all know too well.

    11. Use Licorice to Eliminate Corns

Yes, licorice, everyone’s least favorite candy. But the one thing worse than licorice is having a corn on your toe. If you soak some licorice with oil, apply it all to the affected area, then wrap it tight under plastic wrap (and maybe a sock) for 6-8 hours—for instance, overnight—this will cause the licorice to soften the corn.

    12. Ease Your Hangover with Apple Cider Vinegar

Drinking might be fun, but hangovers aren’t fun for anyone. But when you used to see grandpa downing a shot of apple cider vinegar after a night with his buddies, he knew what he was doing. Apple cider vinegar balances the pH levels in your stomach after a little too much alcohol throws it off. Just gulp down a teaspoon of this vinegar, or a small shot-glass. If you can’t take it straight, dilute it with some water.

    13. Constipation with beets

The human body needs to eliminate waste, and when it gets all bunched up, major discomfort ensues. One home solution you may have heard from your grandparents was to eat some fresh-steamed beets, then drink the water they were steamed in. This should clear out your colon like magic. Just be warned that when you do go, your stools or urine may be bright red: nothing to worry about, just the natural dye of the beets.

    14. Vodka for stinky feet

Having trouble with foot odor? Get some vodka. No, we’re not suggesting that you get drunk and avoid the problem. The key is that alcoholic is an antiseptic, which means it eliminates the fungus that causes foot odor, and dries your feet out. Just soak a thin cloth in some vodka, swipe your foot down, and feel the smell go away.

    15. Mix Cumin, Honey, Cinnamon and Ginger for Diarrhea

A bad case of the runs can keep you up all night. Instead of taking drugs that will simply constipate you, thereby causing more stomach pains, a better natural remedy is to combine a teaspoon of cumin, and the same portion of honey, cinnamon, and ginger into a paste that you can drink.

    16. Lemons for an Earache

Pain in the ears can be soothed by the application of freshly-squeezed lemons. Just squeeze a lemon onto a Q-tip, and delicately rub this just inside the ear to restore pH balance.

    17. Stinging Nettle for Hair Loss

You can’t force hair to regrow once it’s already gone, but you can slow down the rate of hair loss through the use of stinging nettle, an herb often used for tea. Drinking stinging nettle tea a few times a day should help, and you can also massage stinging nettle itself in your scalp.

    18. Cure Nausea with Olives

Whether it’s from motion sickness or an unpleasant sight, the familiar (but unpleasant) side effects associated with nausea can be cured by eating olives, due to the tannin inside them.

    19. Potatoes for Spider Bites

If a spider managed to sink its teeth into you, ease the itching and swelling by shredding a potato, wrapping the pieces in cloth, and applying to the bite area. Note, this is a treatment for symptoms of a regular, non-deadly bite: if the bite comes from a more deadly spider, such as a black widow, seek immediate medical attention.

    20. Raw Honey for Chapped Lips

Don’t ever waste your money on Chapstick again. Much has been said about the healing properties of raw, organic honey, but if your lips are chapped, you can simply apply honey to the affected area—rub it on, just as you would Chapstick—and it will do the job nicely, and taste better to boot. Just make sure the honey is both raw and organic.

    21. Garlic for Allergies

For a more natural antihistamine when your nasal allergies act up, eat lots of garlic, whether it’s straight bulbs or slices on crackers. Garlic contains a lot of the antioxidant quercetin, which eases allergy symptoms. If there’s no garlic in the pantry, onions work as well.

    22. Buttermilk and Ginger for Diarrhea

If you don’t have cumin on hand, another weird-but-effective home remedy for diarrhea is to mix half of a teaspoon of dry ginger into a cup of buttermilk, and drink it.

    23. Treat Styes with Potatoes

If you haven’t noticed, potatoes are a lot more powerful than people realize. If you get a stye on your eye, just grate a potato, wrap the gratings in a cloth, and press to the affected area to ease inflammation.

    24. Avoid Mosquitoes with Garlic

If you don’t want to get eaten alive with mosquitoes, enjoy a garlic-rich diet, because mosquitoes are totally repelled by garlic. For further protection, rub garlic oil on your skin.

    25. Yams for Menopause

To up your dosage of vitamin A, lower your cholesterol, and add more antioxidants to your diet, start incorporating yams—real yams, not sweet potatoes—into your regular daily diet.

    26. Apples Help the Bowels

Apples are high in pectin, a naturally occurring fiber that both bulks up and softens stools. This means that apples are an effective treatment for both diarrhea andconstipation. Just make sure to eat the skin too, which contains valuable ursolic acid.

    27. Banana Peel for Poison Ivy

While bananas won’t prevent you from getting the allergic rash that 85% of the population contracts from touching poison ivy, they can help. Rub the inside of a banana peel against poison ivy rash for relief from the pain and itchiness.

    28. Honey for Acid Reflux

As soon as the symptoms of acid reflux begin affecting you, swallow three spoons of honey, and it should help you achieve better digestion.

    29. Blackstrap molasses for Constipation

If you suffer from frequent constipation, try injecting a little blackstrap molasses into your diet, whether as a coffee additive or an extra ingredient in cookies. This molasses should ease constipation, but be careful not to over-indulge, because too much molasses will increase constipation.

    30. Pine Syrup for Sore Throats

You know what helps a sore throat? Pine needles. Yes, really. To make pine syrup, collect a cup of freshly-washed pine needles, and thoroughly blend them. Meanwhile, boil water, corn syrup, and a bit of salt, mix this with the needles, then steep for a few hours. Keep this syrup in the refrigerator for at least a month, then keep it on hand forever to treat sore throats.

    31. DIY Cough Syrup

If you want to make a good cough syrup from the ingredients of your pantry, mix together ¼ teaspoon ground ginger, 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar, ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper, 1 tablespoon of honey, and a few spoons of water. Mix it all together, and have 1-3 teaspoons to ease coughing symptoms.

    32. Garlic for toothache

Nothing will keep you up at night like a bad cavity or an exposed nerve. While garlic won’t cure the underlying issue, chewing on garlic at night, particularly chewing whole cloves in the affected area, will ease pain tremendously.

    33. Put on Wet Socks to Treat a Cold

Hear us out for a minute. To treat the symptoms of a common cold, begin by soaking your feet in hot water for at least three minutes – or just taking a bath. Meanwhile, soak a pair of your socks in ice water. Put the socks on your feet, cover them up with a pair of wool socks, and then go to bed. As you sleep with these horribly cold feet, the blood vessels will constrict, pushing nutrients up into your body to push out the infection.

    34. Fix Dry Skin

To soften dry skin, break down two bananas and mix them with a bit of honey. Apply this paste to the skin, let it sit for about 20 minutes, and then wash it off, and your skin should feel softer.

    35. Teabags for Burns

Get a cool-temperature, wet teabag, of any tea, and place it directly on the burned area. This won’t fix the burn, but it will relieve the pain almost immediately.

    36. Oil Pulling

This might have become a trend recently, but it’s actually an old practice that our grandparents learned from their grandparents. Basically, enhance your dental routine by taking a spoonful of coconut oil – though other oils work as well – and swishing it in your mouth for five minutes a day, specifically pulling it through the teeth, and then spit it out into the toilet. The oil will “pull” all of the toxins out of the mouth, allowing you to spit them out in one go. When used in addition to standard brushing and flossing, oil pulling will help digestion, reduce gingivitis, prevent receding gums, get rid of bad breath, strengthen teeth, and much, much more.

    37. Help Eczema with an Oatmeal Bath

If the horrendous itchiness of eczema still has you down, you can hugely reduce the itchiness by following your grandmother’s old advice taking a bath of oatmeal. There’s a reason that so many lotions and pharmaceutical eczema treatments contain oatmeal as an ingredient: it really works! For a home solution, just make a bath for yourself, fill it with colloidal oatmeal, and then soak for a while.

    38. Stop Your Snoring

Is your snoring annoying your wife or husband? Try drinking a glass of warm milk with a teaspoon of turmeric powder added to it before bed, and hear your partner’s relief.

    39. Basil Leaves and Ginger for Fever

Fevers are the body’s way of pushing out an infection, but when it’s time to cut back on the heat, here’s a home solution. Crush some ginger and basil leaves together into  paste, then add a teaspoon of honey. Squeeze out the liquid, and then take a drink ever four hours or so.

    40. Soak Golden Raisins in Gin for Arthritis

If there’s one thing that afflicted so many of our grandparents, it was the terrible swelling pains of arthritis. But they had a home remedy that still works today. Get some golden raisins, soak them in gin, and let it sit overnight until all of the gin has been soaked up. After this is done, eat about ten raisins a day. While this won’t fix the underlying problems of arthritis, it will greatly ease the symptoms.

Interesting Article! The Golden Hour: What to Do in the First 60 Minutes of SHTF

First take a look at one of the most shocking videos in the world! This video actually shows us what the secret of the Trump family is related to their expressive health!!! –FULL VIDEO HERE

Many people are convinced that civilization as we know it will collapse or, at best, experience a prolonged interruption. Very few of those people are actually planning for it and even less are preparing for it in advance. For those of us actually preparing we have forums, books, videos, and meetings to help us get ready for SHTF.

A few are even likely hoping for it for various reasons. What if this collapse occurs in a matter of minutes as well it might in various SHTF scenarios; nuclear war, terrorism, EMP, pandemic, conventional war, civil unrest becoming civil war? I am sure you can add a few to this list. Using the Golden Hour concept from trauma medicine I am proposing a few unusual ways of handling the first hour of SHTF.

In this Golden Hour things you do and do not do will have a profound effect on your chances of a decent survival outcome. The Golden Hour is getting a major trauma victim to a trauma center within an hour. Survival rates plummet by minute 61. What will you do in the first 60 minutes of a sudden SHTF? I expect disagreement and hope the comments will give me some good ideas.

This guide below can help you in a survival situation

If society collapses, you can bet that the foods the pioneers ate will become dietary staples

The Stockpile Savior prepares you to deal with worst-case scenarios with the minimum amount of resources just like our forefathers lived their lives, totally independent from electricity, cars, or modern technology.

So pay chose attention because this video will change your life forever for the good!

SHTF Happens and you are at Home

Reacting rather than data gathering is the key to all of these situations. As humans used to experiencing normal conditions the sudden ending of the normal is a shock and many react to it by standing still and trying to find out what is going on. The lights go out, you check your phone, you look out the window, and you try to find your battery radio and the flashlights. You are in bed and the loud bang shakes the house violently and the power goes out. You use your phone, you turn on the TV, and you go outside to find out what is going on. You might even go through these actions several times!

WaterBob Emergency water storage holds up to 100 gallons

I am not saying these responses are always wrong. Geography, etc. has an input into your plan which is a pre-written plan. If you are hundreds of miles from cities then your response might be different especially if you have large volumes of water stored. What I am saying is get moving early and start using the Water Bob, the clean rain barrels from storage within minutes of any alert that normal no longer might exist. Finding out what has happened is a secondary concern to preparing to survive. Who cares if Russia has attacked the USA or if it was a terrorist bomb? Listen to your gut not to CNN.

Even worse is leaving the home to collect wife (or husband) and kids. During the opening hour you have to prepare the home for a possible prolonged end of normal life. The wife (or husband) and kids have a plan and they will use it. It might be to hunker down and wait for you knowing it might be a day or two or come home immediately but they know it and you know it. Fight the very human desire to gather the loved ones immediately at the time of crisis unless is your plan and they know it. If you (or they) are at home then the preparing of the home is the best thing you can do for them in the opening hour. You have no idea how long the water or electricity will last.

Obviously if your children are young you need a plan to collect them but do you need to go immediately? If yes, then go. But the decision is a logical one not an emotional one. Emotional reactions to sudden shocks often lead to faulty decision-making. It might be best to protect your food and water supplies while the electricity and water remain on before heading out to collect your child from school. An hour or two’s delay in setting out means they get to eat and drink for sure.

If it is a temporary thing you have at worst wasted the water bob and will have to buy a new one (people say you can reuse it but I am not sure water safety is worth the risk). Other things you may consider doing during the first hour is nailing tarps over your raised garden beds and moving supplies into the house or bug out vehicle. What you do not want to be doing is chatting to neighbors or wasting time trying to get information. Something bad seems to have happened so deal with it. How much you know about it is a human desire but preparing is the essential thing in the first hour.

SHTF Happens and you are on the Road

This is the hardest of all situations to experience sudden SHTF yet it is the most common one in society. Motor Vehicle Collisions (they are not ‘accidents’) kill and maim many people each and every day.

However in a sudden SHTF of major local, national, or international scope what is your plan if you are in the vehicle? If the vehicle works get fuel as soon as possible and buy food and water in the first gas station you see using cash but only if it is safe and uncrowded. Then get home or to the preplanned bug out location using the vehicle. Do not delay at all. In sudden SHTF people literally drive miles in one direction, usually to collect family, and then end up being directed the opposite way by Police. When they finally get home it is burned down or looted. As ever everyone in your family know to stay in place or come home in an SHTF and when to do so. You are not their savior. Your role is to trust them and the written and discussed plan.

Roads in major cities will quickly become impassable.
Roads in major cities will quickly become impassable.

Some SHTF scenarios will see the vehicle fail or be blocked in its progress. Abandon the vehicle immediately gathering all useful supplies and get moving away from people and towards home or the bug out location. Drive alternative routes if possible but a vehicle is not going to last long in a major SHTF so try not to be attached to it! Again chatting to people, trying their phones, and wondering what is going on is pointless. It is bad and that is all you need to know. Use the sides of highways to move away from the groups of scared, annoyed, and confused people on the road. No need to walk up the exit ramps as you have the physical ability to use less usual routes. You always have a paper map however basic and a get home bag in the car.

Transit by boat, plane, or train in a sudden SHTF is problematic. In your Golden Hour gather supplies, learn exits, and start thinking how best to get out and home. Water in train, boat, and plane washrooms is not drinkable but empty a recycling bin and fill up those bottles with it. You should have a few water purification tablets on you at all times. Do not bother washing out those bottles. People are not really that infectious (this advice is NOT to be followed in a pandemic) and you can easily get 10 liters or more of okay water stored up in the first few minutes of the SHTF while everyone else is shouting into dead phones. By Day Two you will be very happy you did this in those first few minutes.

As a rule I never travel by boat other than short ferry rides and I cannot see a good outcome in SHTF on a cruise ship but if you cruise at least carry your own flotation vests and survival kit.

Experiencing a sudden and dreadful SHTF on a plane might be interesting. If it falls out of the sky then all the prepping you have done will hopefully be used by your loved ones. However diversion and being kept in an airport is more likely in a sudden SHTF. Carry cash in large amounts and try to carry some cash that can be used in the countries you are flying over or near. If the power is on and you can use credit cards to immediately start an alternative route home. In 9-11 people were stuck in Canada for up to four days when they could have got home via train and bus if they had started immediately. A few hours later and there were no seats available! If a small nuclear war is the cause of air travel suspension imagine how long you might be stuck somewhere and how likely is it you will be well treated?

If a SHTF is likely I’d advise you to call sick and stay at home even if you have a cruise booked but SHTF can happen with almost no warning and what you do immediately can make or break your survival chances.

SHTF Happens and you are at Work, School, or the Mall

Ideally using your preplanned route(s) and get home bag you will immediately start home. If the car park is a mess or the car will not work immediately abandon it after getting the supplies. In a sudden and serious SHTF roads and car parks likely will be both slower than walking and less safe.

    kenya-attack-army

If it is a chemical or nuclear SHTF you might need to shelter in place. Know where the washrooms are especially those deep in the building and infrequently used. If mushroom clouds bloom on the horizon people will mainly rush to their cars and attempt to flee home not that home is a magically safe place. Go to the nearest couple of recycling bins, open them, and carry the trash bags loaded with cans and bottles to the washroom (preferably one on a lower level). Dump them out and start filling them with tap water. Don’t bother cleaning them out. Try to get 50 litres or more. Do this immediately and you can store up 4 weeks’ worth in minutes. Store it in a cubical, lock it, and climb out. At this point try to buy food as you head for the car but do not if it will take time. At the car grab everything useful and back to the washroom. Bunker in and trust your loved ones are similarly safe.

It is unlikely people will use the washrooms in Malls and schools in these scenarios especially those out-of-the-way ones. If they do all your stuff is in a locked cubical. Food and warmth are not the priority in the Golden Hour but water and security are. Consider breaking all the lights in your washroom after securing the water and jamming the door. Consider breaking all the lights in the corridor outside and pulling stuff into it. Initially people will not take hard routes.

Looting supplies is reasonable once people have gone and Security has left. Before then the chances of getting into trouble makes it not worth the risk. Most fast food places have the food (such as it is) in the back. Mall, workplace, and School offices have lockers and many will have something to eat inside if you take your time looking through them. At work know who keeps food at their desks (you do I hope!). Most people will grab their keys and bags and flee towards home leaving behind a lot of food and useful items.

Many people think about using coins to raid vending machines. Maybe this is a good idea but water is from the washroom taps and the recycling bins and lining up slowly buying chocolate bars might make you a target. In a sudden SHTF it is more than likely you can use your small crow bar from your get home bag to access the vending machines the next day. You are going to be sitting in dark for at least a week but I’d try to do this for four weeks. Then you go home. Radiation will hopefully not kill you in four weeks but likely will the first day.

Many places have drapes and carpets that you can cut up to make sleeping ‘bags’ and this is the sort of re-purposing you need to do in SHTF. Keep active and do whatever you need to do to optimize your survival chances.

The hardest part is not fleeing but thinking, planning, and acting. Prepping is a state of mind as much as anything and I hope this article gets you thinking a bit. Much of it is arguable so please argue!

There’s a dark undercurrent suggesting that the elite’s end goal is to force-feed humanity food sources like bugs, feces, and — as some are now alleging — human remains. This isn’t just a change in diet. It’s a direct attack on our autonomy, health, and humanity itself. By gradually desensitizing the public to consuming grotesque food sources, the elite seek to reshape our food culture, redefining what is acceptable for humans to eat.

  • WHO’s Pandemic Accord Will Give It Control Over U.S. Livestock and Food Supply (This accord will, if entered into by the U.S., usurp our nation’s sovereignty, violate our privacy, restrict our independence, and infringe upon our right to grow our own food and raise our own animals.)

WHO’s Pandemic Accord Will Give It Control Over U.S. Livestock and Food Supply (This accord will, if entered into by the U.S., usurp our nation’s sovereignty, violate our privacy, restrict our independence, and infringe upon our right to grow our own food and raise our own animals.)

I’ve read many articles on the World Health Organization’s attempt to take over the U.S. pandemic response through an accord that will allow it to impose vaccines, lockdowns, and essentially any restrictive measure it wants in the name of a virus. But nobody is talking about how the accord will give the WHO complete control over agriculture—wild and domesticated animals—and our food supply.

The WHO’s incoming chief scientist said governments should invest in vaccines for all strains of influenza that exist in the animal kingdom in case there’s an outbreak among humans.

Jeremy Farhar, who is leaving Wellcome to join the WHO later this year, said during a media briefing in terms of a potential pandemic event, H5N1 is a “big worry.”

Farrar warned the H5N1 (avian) influenza viruses are being allowed to circulate among poultry, wild birds, and mammals—and is the perfect way to “create something nasty.”

This should have your attention full stop because the WHO is gearing up to give itself the authority to declare pandemics and to control this country’s pandemic response. As I reported in a post published earlier today, the WHO has published a draft of the pandemic accord the Biden administration fully intends to enter into.

What I didn’t dive into is the concerning language that gives the WHO not only the authority to impose mandatory vaccines and lockdowns but allows it to use “viruses” in animals and the threat of a “pandemic” to take over U.S. livestock and our food supply.

The WHO is already letting us know they’re going to start with poultry—and you’re either going to allow your flocks to be controlled, surveilled, and vaccinated, or they’ll be killed so the viruses they don’t have won’t spread to people (or harm the environment). They are already laying the groundwork for this, and the authority they’ll derive this power from is the pandemic accord.

If you read through the 32-page draft of the accord, you’ll see how this document gives the WHO the authority to take control over U.S. agriculture and our food supply:

    1. By signing onto the accord, a country acknowledges that “most emerging infectious diseases originate in animals, including wildlife and domesticated animals, then spill over to people.” (See p. 6)

From the outset, they’re laying the foundation that “most infectious diseases” begin in animals; thus, their ability to regulate animals is within their purview.
    2. Parties must reaffirm the importance of a “One Health approach” to detect and prevent health threats at the animal and human interface, “in particular zoonotic spill-over and mutations, and to sustainably balance and optimize the health of people, animals, and ecosystems.” (See p. 6)

In other words, a member state that signs on to the accord has to agree to drink the Kool-Ade. They don’t want member states dissenting, so everyone needs to “reaffirm” their loyalty to an initiative called the “One Health Approach,” whose scope includes the health of people, animals, AND ecosystems.
    3. Parties must acknowledge “the creation of the Quadripartite” to “better address any One Health-related issue.”

Here, you see who will have the “authority” over food and agriculture. It’s not the United States Department of Agriculture, Congress, your states, landowners, or farmers. It’s not even your elected officials or U.S. citizens.

The draft states explicitly that the “Quadripartite” consists of the WHO—whose top three donors include the U.S., Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and the People’s Republic of China—the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, the World Organisation for Animal Health, and the United Nations Environment Programme.
    4. By signing this accord, a country must commit to integrating a “One Health surveillance system [. . .] to identify and assess the risks and emergence of pathogens and variants with pandemic potential, in order to minimize spill-over events, mutations and the risks associated with zoonotic neglected tropical and vector-borne diseases, with a view to preventing small-scale outbreaks in wildlife or domesticated animals from becoming a pandemic (page 24).”

Furthermore, each party shall “foster actions at national and community levels that encompass whole-of-government and whole-of-society approaches to control zoonotic outbreaks (in wildlife and domesticated animals), including engagement of communities in surveillance that identifies zoonotic outbreaks and antimicrobial resistance at source.”

The sections that follow discuss how parties must enhance surveillance to “identify and report pathogens” and strengthen “infection prevention and control in health care settings and sanitation and biosecurity in livestock farms […].”

In other words, if you have your own animals, the WHO is going to know about it and have control over them because . . . viruses.

According to the WHO’s website, OneHealth is an “integrated, unifying approach to balance and optimize the health of people, animals, and the environment. It is particularly important to prevent, predict, detect, and respond to global health threats such as the COVID-19 pandemic.”

OneHealth “involves the public health, veterinary, public health, and environmental sectors” and is “particularly relevant for food and water safety, nutrition, the control of zoonoses […], pollution management, and combatting antimicrobial resistance […].”

A One Health High-Level Expert Panel was formed in May 2021 to advise the WHO and other agencies on “One Health” issues. If these “advisors” are anything like the CDC or FDA’s vaccine advisors, we can expect that they have questionable ties to the WHO, Bill Gates, and pharmaceutical companies—and are merely there to enforce the WHO’s agenda.

    The WHO’s website further states:

“Critical areas this panel addresses include food production and distribution, urbanization and infrastructure development, international travel and trade, activities that lead to biodiversity loss and climate change, and those that put increased pressure on the natural resource base — all of which can lead to the emergence of zoonotic diseases.”

Do you see what the WHO is doing here? How clever to slide language into a pandemic accord that requires parties to ascribe to this One Health agenda—that is not explained at all in this draft.

The WHO isn’t just putting itself in charge of pandemics; they’re using the reality that some viruses originate in animals to take control of livestock and the food supply—and giving themselves the broad authority to do so in the name of viruses, “biosecurity” and even climate change.

Given Bill Gates is the second largest donor of the WHO and wants “rich nations” to eat “100% synthetic beef” and genetically modified plant-based toxin burgers, this should give you pause. This pandemic accord is the vehicle by which all of the ridiculous initiatives peddled by the elite at the World Economic Forum will be carried out.

This accord will, if entered into by the U.S., usurp our nation’s sovereignty, violate our privacy, restrict our independence, and infringe upon our right to grow our own food and raise our own animals. Everything will be done in the name of a “pandemic,” and we will be powerless to stop it.

  • An Early Warning For America . . . 3 Reasons China Could Shock The World

An Early Warning For America . . . 3 Reasons China Could Shock The World

China’s economy is plunging into an unprecedented and dire phase, sounding deafening alarms that the Chinese government hopes to muffle, but they are growing too loud to ignore. This looming collapse is an ominous warning to America and the entire world as we are witnessing this unsettling unraveling in real-time. So, what do we need to know about this? China isn’t exactly transparent, most recently halting economic data releases to keep the world in the dark, which is just not a good sign. What they are hiding is that their state-controlled economy is unravelling due to debt, misguided investments, and eroding credibility. The question is, how bad could it get and what impact could it have on you? And most importantly, what can you do to prepare? Let’s talk about it.

3 REASONS CHINA COULD SHOCK THE WORLD

    1) UNINFORMED POPULATION

    China Population

The course and direction of a country are often determined by its citizens, and China’s citizenry is becoming increasingly upset and agitated, or are they? Some things we know, and some things we don’t.  We know the suppression of information and censorship might keep them from blaming their problems on the Chinese government, and the government is keeping information from them. The Chinese Communist Party had a botched COVID response–Draconian lockdown of apartment complexes and factories; workers forced to work instead of going home, then suddenly all measures were lifted as if they never occurred.

China has ceased reporting economic data that could reveal its true economic health. For instance, they stopped publishing youth unemployment figures, citing a need to review their methodology. The most recent available data showed a record-high youth unemployment rate of 21.3% in June for those aged 16 to 24. It’s possible that it’s even higher now, possibly exceeding 25%, but we lack current information. In addition, China has limited access for foreign users to corporate registries and academic journals. They have also clamped down on due diligence firms, which are vital sources of information for overseas businesses interested in China. It’s evident that the Chinese government is actively suppressing information and engaged in extensive damage control.

The Chinese people don’t really understand how teetering their economy truly is because the government doesn’t want that to be known. Even today, if the ruling Chinese Communist Party doesn’t like data or it reflects negatively on them, they simply don’t report it. The world has to wonder what’s really going on in the people’s minds, what they actually know and don’t know, and whether their frustration level will ever be more potent than the government’s ability to hold them down.

90% of People Won’t Survive 6 Months Without Power

    2) OVERBUILDING & COLLAPSE

China has followed an investment-led economic growth model, heavily focusing on infrastructure and construction. However, this approach has led to significant overbuilding, with excess housing units that could house twice the entire Chinese population.  Did you catch that? There’s two residences available for each of the 1.412 billion people. In China, home ownership for investment is favored over stocks. As a result, China has responded to this by building, and building, and building giving people to buy properties that are sitting vacant. Unlike the U.S., China’s stock market is less closely tied to the economy at individual and corporate levels. Chinese firms tend to rely more on bank loans and retained earnings rather than equity financing, in contrast to U.S. companies. Only around 7% of Chinese households own stocks, compared to 53% in the U.S. This leads to a liquidity issue, as it’s easier to sell stocks than vacant properties in a market with a surplus of available properties.

This has led to the citizenry purchasing homes enthusiastically as an investment vehicle leading them to invest in multiple apartments, accumulating second, third, and even fourth properties. As the economy suffers, however, they find themselves unable to make payments on some of these properties and unable to unload them to take a loss on them. Again, that’s two residences available for each person. This massive overbuild presents a problem that surpasses anything seen in the American subprime crisis.

This has been unraveling at a staggering pace, even as the government takes drastic measures to desperately try to stop the freefall. The collapse of Evergrande, a massive Chinese real estate company with over 1,300 projects in more than 280 cities, has sent shockwaves through China’s real estate market, one of the world’s largest, employing over 2.8 million people. As of 2021, Evergrande was grappling with $300 billion in liabilities, failing to meet its obligations to suppliers and offshore lenders, ultimately defaulting on its creditors. This default triggered a market panic, a cascade of defaults, and nationwide protests that were forcefully suppressed. The ongoing real estate crisis, now spanning two years, has raised concerns about financial system contagion risks and is likely contributing to job cuts, housing market declines, and an economic slowdown in China, the full magnitude of which remains uncertain and of global significance.

If the subprime real estate bubble collapse of 2008 in the U.S. that rippled worldwide and plunged many economies into a deep recession was bad, China’s overleveraged position in real estate is likely far, far worse. Foreign direct investment in China’s real estate market is quite extensive. Still, those investors are getting rather skittish as the Chinese Communist Party continues to demonstrate that it is having difficulty righting the ship that is its economy.

The government continues to struggle to radically adjust and prop the economy up, even as they crack down on billionaire tycoons and use them as scapegoats.  Their desperation has lead China to seek and secure substantial resource deals with Russia during the conflict in Ukraine and Russia’s urgent quest for allies and markets. These agreements have the potential to entirely redirect global energy and grain sales, potentially leading to a profound transformation of longstanding trade agreements. These known and unknown deals are altering geopolitics and will have unknown future consequences worldwide.

    3) SHIFTING MARKETS

    China Semiconductor

It’s a well-publicized fact that the U.S. has been at economic war with China as it decouples its economy from them. Whether that can be completely done and whether we even want to do that is still in question, but recent years have brought a host of economic moves. The U.S. has taken various financial measures, including imposing tariffs on Chinese imports and embargoing advanced technology sales.  Most notable in this decoupling has been the CHIPS Act designed to boost domestic semiconductor manufacturing and research, enhance supply chain security, and promote workforce development to reduce reliance on foreign sources for critical semiconductor components. It has also put a significant drag on China’s production capabilities.  These actions aim to reduce imports, protect or bring back U.S. jobs, and safeguard American infrastructure. However, despite these efforts, true decoupling remains more of a geopolitical goal than an economic reality, as China’s share in U.S. imports declined from 21.6% to 16.3% between 2017 and 2022. As a matter of fact, Mexico has surpassed China as the U.S.’s leading trade partner.

So pay chose attention because this video will change your life forever for the good!

How effective any of these measures has been, only time will tell. One thing that has been accomplished with certainty is that all these measures have driven China to explore other markets for its goods and resources. China has struck long-term energy resource deals with Russia, which will have far-reaching implications for global supplies and forever has altered the flow of global energy resources. The two countries have signed a 30-year, $400 billion gas supply deal called the Power-of-Siberia pipeline, which began in late 2019. This deal is expected to provide 22 billion cubic meters of gas in 2023 and reach a total capacity of 38 billion cubic meters by 2027, with gas flows increasing nearly 50% to 15.5 billion cubic meters in the previous year. China is working on a Central Asian pipeline to source gas from Turkmenistan, while Russia is also expanding its Siberian connection. Furthermore, Russia supplies oil to China through the East Siberia Pacific Ocean pipeline, resulting in an 8% increase in Chinese imports of Russian crude oil in 2022.

In the first four months of 2023, China imported about 6 million tons of wheat from Russia, greater than 60% more than the previous year. Of that, Russia supplied 30,000 tons.

This is all fine; who cares where they buy their grain or oil, right? Except these purchases significantly fund and prop up the Russian economy, solidifying new supply lines as other supply lines evaporate. If anything should happen to Russia, like Putin’s reign ending or large-scale crop failures, China suddenly has nowhere to turn to feed its people, and it lacks the fiscal resources to pay up to get the food it needs to feed its 1.4 billion people.

China has sought to bolster its markets in a new authoritarian-leaning world realignment, and a new world order is rapidly emerging. The Chinese government has managed to keep its economy afloat through savvy deals, maneuvering, and going from misrepresenting and misreporting numbers to simply not reporting them anymore. These temporary bouncebacks haven’t managed to flip the economy into the black but have kept it from free-falling. They haven’t fixed the underlying problems, and for years, with each, the rest of the world has wondered when the whole thing will fall apart.

Let’s assume for a minute that the shaky economy, the risky deals with countries run by despots, the changing and new supply lines, or the people of China stop working nicely. Let’s assume that one of those fails, crashing the entire Chinese economy. What will that mean to you and me? What will that mean to the world?

    CHINA IMPLODES. NOW WHAT?

    Establishment Closure

If the Chinese economy were to implode suddenly, the consequences for the rest of the world would be substantial and multifaceted. Individuals and businesses should prepare for several potential scenarios. First, a collapse of the Chinese economy would trigger a global recession due to its significant role in the world economy. People should be prepared for possible job losses, reduced economic growth, and financial market volatility. If all the parts and ingredients in everything from medicines to Global Hawk unmanned surveillance drones carried labels as to where it was made, you would be shocked to learn that much of it still comes from China. Dependence on cheap Chinese manufactured items isn’t an addiction that is easily broken.

China is the world’s largest producer of pharmaceutical ingredients and produces and exports around 40% of the world’s active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs). Those APIs predominantly flow to India, which is the world’s largest provider of generic medicines by volume, accounting for 20% of global pharmaceutical exports. India also manufactures 60% of all vaccines in the world. If China implodes, the world’s supply of medicines will immediately plunge to critically low levels.

China is a central manufacturing hub, and its production disruptions could lead to various product shortages. We caught a glimpse of that with the COVID lockdowns, but the country’s economic collapse would be magnitudes greater in impact. The U.S. imports massive quantities of manufactured goods from China, including 70 percent of Walmart’s store merchandise and 40 percent of the clothing sold domestically. It’s not just retail stores that would suddenly find themselves without inventory. In 2020, the United States imported machinery valued at $41 billion from China, making it one of the largest importers of Chinese machinery. Additionally, in 2021, the U.S. imported $13 billion worth of other electrical machinery, primarily sourced from China. These figures highlight the significant reliance on Chinese machinery and electrical equipment in the U.S. market.

Imagine farmers suddenly unable to repair or maintain their equipment. Imagine water companies unable to replace failing equipment. Imagine electrical companies without the necessary equipment and materials to maintain the grid. The quantity of these imports versus domestically manufactured products fluctuates yearly as these governments clash. However, they still find their way here to some degree, even if it is via India or some other intermediary country. No one is ready to see what happens if that supply suddenly seizes.

I have focused on the primary impact China’s economic implosion would have on the U.S., but emerging countries and trade partners worldwide will be impacted as well. Businesses, manufacturers, and distributors worldwide would immediately suffer to an extent large enough to perhaps even topple some countries. This year, We have seen how economic pressures and the application of foreign government influence can directly lead to rebellions and the toppling of established governments. The global dynamics can change considerably when critical food imports to starving countries suddenly stop.

The geopolitical ramifications of a Chinese economic collapse could lead to significant shifts in global power dynamics. People should be prepared for potential changes in international alliances and trade relationships, which could affect their countries’ foreign policy and economic strategies. China, forced into desperate measures to sustain its power and economy, could seek to deflect attention and blame by sparking a conflict in the South China Sea or with Taiwan. China could sell lethal arms and armaments to Russia in exchange for a more significant stake in the resources in the Siberian region. Any number of odd, desperate, and unfriendly alliances could be openly and secretly agreed to in an attempt to stay afloat.

    WHAT CAN YOU DO?

When it blows, it’s going to be big, and it’s gonna be painful.  Let’s be honest.  If you were to stop what you’re doing right now and look around your room, I’d be willing to wager that the majority of what surrounds you somehow or another originated from China.  We’ve become so reliant on China’s cheap manufacturing for so long that we’ve gotten addicted.  So the short answer is that the stuff won’t be cheap any more.

But as a prepper, I always return to the critical items of food and water. I always suggest having a water supply and a means to treat and filter it ready to go. This is why we cover water storage on the channel and encourage you to begin learning how to produce your own food.  I realize gardening is not easy and it requires your time and money.  But, as you lessen your dependence on systems that will eventually fail, no matter if you’re starting out and have enough food for a week, you’re on the right path.

You may not be able to change China’s trajectory, but you can bolster your ability to make it through the economic fallout of China’s implosion by getting your own preps in order. Watch our video on building a 2 week essential food supply to start, because this could turn bad quickly.  I’ll post a link here on the screen and you watch that video next.  What’s your thoughts?  What steps are you taking now to prepare for this issue and others that are on the horizon?  Let us know in the comments section below.

lesson For the New Generation- First causes of the Asian economic crisis that led to the denouncement of the Fixed Exchange Rate in 1997

Lessons from the Asian Financial Crisis brings together the leading minds in the worlds of finance and academia to dissect the crisis. Divided into three comprehensive sections-The Subprime Crisis; The Global Financial Crisis; and Law, Regulation, the Financial Crisis, and The Future-this book puts the events that have transpired in perspective, and offers valuable insights into what we must do to avoid future missteps.

The Asian Financial Crisis began when the Baht was faced with significant speculative pressure resulting from imbalances within the Thai economy at the time. Prior to the crisis, there was significant inflow of private capital into Thailand, stemming from loans for investments, particularly investments in the real estate sector. This created an asset price bubble, which led to increased capital and debt. At that time, Thailand carried out monetary policy under a Fixed Exchange Rate Regime. Although such policy created stability for financial markets; however, it also led lenders and borrowers grossly under estimated the risks associated with capital inflow. This led to an imbalance between the banking sector’s financial instruments and debt and an imbalance between the amount of foreign currency in the private sector’s balance sheets. Such excessive borrowing turned into a vital weakness in the economic system. Importantly the imbalance in the banking sector’s financial instruments was “short term loans and long term investments”. In other words, short term borrowing of foreign funds but providing long term loans to domestic infrastructure projects. Such imbalance exacerbated the risk to the economy to capital outflows.

On the other hand, persistent high economic growth (i.e. the Golden Era) of the Thai economy contributed to the banking sector’s inability to adequately assessed risk and credit regulations lacked robust considerations of various risks. This included rules and regulations for Financial Institutions that were not restrictive enough. For example, easily providing approval license to establish financial institutions, which resulted in abundant bankruptcies or forced shut downs of such financial institutions once faced with liquidity issues from foreign outflows. This led to a financial crisis that impacted the economy and general public on a wide scale.

The TomYam Kung crisis was the worst crisis in Thailand’s modern economic history. Despite occurring 25 years ago, the Thai economy still has remaining “scars” from TomYam Kung. Therefore, deciphering and passing on the lessons learnt from the crisis will not only help the “new generation” learn to avoid and prevent a similar crisis to occur to the Thai economy, but will also alleviate current economic problems as well.

    Cause of the Crisis

The cause of the economic crisis that led to the denouncement of the Fixed Exchange Rate and led to a float in the Baht in 1997 are as follows:

    1. Persistent Current Account Deficit

1987-1996 was a period where the Thai economy expanded continuously and the Current Account deficit consistently increased and stood at 14,000 million USD prior to the crisis. This was a result of significant decrease in exports in 1996 (where exports only grew by 1.9%, compared to 24.82% the year prior, and was the first significant deterioration in exports since Thailand changed its economic development strategy in 1977 that emphasized production for exports).

    2. Foreign debt

Between 1989-1994 Thailand went through financial liberalization which allowed the country access to foreign capital with ease, without any exchange rate risks since the Baht was pegged at 25 Baht/USD. Borrower could take out and return loans as a result of Thailand’s acceptance of Article 8 of the International Monetary Fund in 1990 to open Thailand’s financial system to the international community. Furthermore, in 1991 Thailand announced the relaxation of foreign exchange. Finally, in 1992 the government permitted commercial banks to establish the Bangkok International Banking Facilities (BIBF). After which, in 1993, 46 commercial banks were granted operating licenses, resulting in an expansion of the country’s financial system leading to an increase in Non-Performing Loans (NPLs) within financial institutions and an increase in loans from foreign financial institutions for domestic purposes.

Towards the end of 1997, Thailand’s international debt increased to 109,276 million USD, particularly short term international debt which comprised 65% of total international debt and the ratio of international reserves to short term debt stood at only 70.4%. Furthermore, the majority of financial institutions had not managed their exchange rate risks.

    3. Excessive investments and Real Estate Bubble

Between 1987-1996, real estate business expanded significantly both in terms of land, residential, offices, and expensive condominium, because producers borrowed funds from abroad and raised capital in Thailand’s booming stock market to invest in real estate across the country with ease. Furthermore, continued increased in real estate prices led to speculation and incentivized significant investors into the sector, such as sales of housing reservations, land, condominium until an economic bubble was embedded into the economy.

    4. Lack of efficiency in Financial Institutions’ operations

At the end of 1996, Thailand severely lacked confidence in domestic financial institutions, such that the government had to close down 18 finance companies and 3 commercial banks. Afterwards, in March 1997, the Ministry of Finance ordered 10 finance companies to raise capital and on 27 June 1997 closed down 16 finance companies and 42 more finance companies on 5 August, for a total of 58 finance companies. The government utilized the Financial Institution Development Fund (FIDF), under the purview of the Bank of Thailand (BOT) to provide support and financial assistance to commercial banks and finance companies once customers were unable to pay off their loans. This is particularly true for the real estate sector which faced excess investment relative to market demand and created liquidity problems for commercial banks, with NPLs as high as 52.3% of total real estate credit on May 1999

Excessive NPLs reflected the fact that prior to the crisis, financial institutions’ credit approval process was too loose and didn’t accurately consider project feasibilities or the ability to repay debt. Moreover, credit was also given out to friends or individuals with ties to politicians on a wide scale.

    5. Policy Inefficiencies

In 1993, Thailand resolved to establish the BIBF and permitted the free flow of capital; however, preparations and regulations were inefficient. This is particularly true as the country was still under a Fixed Exchange Rate System regime, leading to financial system and economic instability. In other words, in order to maintain the exchange rate, the BOT kept absorbing excess liquidity in the market resulting from capital inflow by issuing bonds; however, this only increased interest rates, which were already high, and attracted further capital inflow leading to a vicious cycle.

Furthermore, financial institutions’ standards in regulation were not efficient enough, thereby making them unable to audit the laxed nature of loans in an accurate and timely manner. Regulations were not strict enough to foster a strong foundation for financial institutions.

    6. Currency Attack on the Thai Baht

Prolonged economic problems created an opportunity for foreign investors to speculate and attach the Thai Baht. These were large institutional investors who raised capital to speculate against or attack a currency that founded Quantum Fund (a world renowned fund managed by George Soros). Other investors, including domestic and international commercial banks also speculated against the Baht as well.

In their attack on the Thai Baht, investors would focus on destroying the currency’s credibility, by focusing on fragile economic fundamentals (excessive Current Account deficit and high levels of short term debt relative to international reserves) to create rumors of a currency devaluation. Once the market believes these rumors, this led to significant sale of the Thai Baht in exchange for the USD. The BOT therefore, had to utilize $24,000 million worth of its international reserves (2/3s of the total international reserves) to intervene in the market and defend the value of the Baht. Eventually, only $2,850 million worth of international reserves were left, which was extremely low compared to $38,700 million in 1996.

Finally, on 2 July 1997, the BOT announced the float of the Thai Baht, marking the first day of the worst crisis in Thailand’s modern economy.

Policies and Measures to resolve the Crisis

There were 2 main periods in resolving the crisis as follows:

    1. During the crisis (2 July – November 1997)

1st Measure: Floating of the currency. On 2 July 1997, the BOT announced the cancellation of the Fixed Exchange Rate System with major trading partners and utilized a Floating Exchange Rate System.

2nd Measure: Loan negotiations with the IMF, whereby Thailand signed and accepted the loan conditions on 14 August 1997.

3rd Measure: Economic Recovery (the 13 October 1997 Measure) such as closing down 58 financial institutions, establishing the Financial Sector Restructuring Authority (FSRA), and Financial Institution Asset Management Corporation (FIAMC) to purchase NPLs from these 58 institutions.

4th Measure: State Owned Enterprise Reform

    2. Post Crisis Measures (November 1997 – December 2000)

1st Measure: Increased interest rates to control inflation from escalating too high and prevent capital outflow as well as attract capital inflows to promote stability for the currency (if the Baht appreciates, then the amount of international debt decreases).

2nd Measure: Financial Institution restoration, whereby FSRA announced the restoration plan for the 58 financial institutions that were closed down. Only 2 institutions, Kiatnakin finance company and Bangkok Investment finance company (Public), were allowed to reopen for business. The other 56 finance companies were to enter into the process of selling their NPLs. Furthermore, in August 1998 (14th August 1998 Measure) the FSRA issued financial institutions restoration plan to raise capital in accordance with the Bank for International Settlement (BIS)’s standards. Capital was raised from public savings, selling shares to foreigners along with bond sales to the general public to raise funding capital for state owned commercial banks.

3rd Measure: Economic stimulus via fiscal policy (10th March 1999 Measure) whereby the government took out a 53,000 million Baht loan from Japan in accordance with the Miyazawa plan, economic injection, decreased Value Added Tax (VAT) from 10% to 7%, and decreased 23,800 million Baht worth of petroleum tax. Moreover, the government decreased import tax for production materials that were used as inputs for exports (10 August 1999 Measure). The government in cooperation with the International Finance Corporation, established a fund to restructure private sector debt to lower NPLs, increase capital for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), and permitted the Government Housing Bank to issue housing loans worth 5,000 million Baht.

4th Measure: Other supportive measures to facilitate smooth operations of other policies, such as negotiations with the IMF and issuances of relevant laws.

    Deciphering lessons from the crisis

After the TomYam Kung crisis, various studies, lessons, and structural reforms were made to protect and prevent such a crisis in the future. An important reform that helped foster resiliency and readiness to handle any impact in the country’s financial system was the establishment of the crisis prevention facility, both domestically and regionally as follows:

    1. Chiang Mai Initiative : CMI

In 1999, ASEAN+ 3 governments (the 10 ASEAN member countries and China, Japan, and South Korea) agreed to create a self-help and support mechanism. Afterwards, the ASEAN + 3 Finance Ministers met in Chiang Mai and agreed to establish a project to provide regional financial assistance or the “Chiang Mai Initiative” (CMI), which was an agreement to set up a fund to lend international reserves within ASEAN economies to protect against possible currency attacks.

The creation of CMI was the result of lessons learnt during the economic crisis within the ASEAN region in 1997, particularly in East and South East Asia. Various countries had to request assistance from the IMF without any other alternatives. Therefore, members had developed strong and tangible economic and financial cooperation. Under the cooperation framework, ASEAN+ 3 Finance Ministers agreed to set up a fund worth 240,000 million USD. Originally, the cooperation framework was for bilateral swaps between member countries; however, it had evolved into a multilateral framework under the name “Chiang Mai Initiative Multilateralisation” (CMIM), with the aim of being a mechanism for regional financial cooperation. The framework elevated the provision of liquidity in case member countries are faced with Balance of Payment or short term liquidity problems, and acted as additional financial support to those received from the IMF.

    2. ASEAN+3 Macroeconomic Research Office (AMRO)

On 19 February 2016, ASEAN+ 3 economies had officially established the ASEAN+3 Macroeconomic Research Office (AMRO) as an international organization in Singapore. AMRO is responsible for monitoring economic conditions, forecast the probability of economic and financial risks, provide policy recommendations to member countries, as well as supporting the CMIM operations, which was established as a mechanism to prevent a crisis when member countries are faced with Balance of Payment or short term liquidity problems.

By establishing itself as an international organization, AMRO is more efficient and flexible to analyze and provide macroeconomic warnings, fiscal sustainability, and regional financial sustainability. This will assist ASEAN+ 3 economies to better prevent and address economic crisis that may occur.

    3. Asian Bond Markets Initiative (ABMI)

ASEAN+ 3 member countries foresaw that once a crisis occurs, member countries would need to rely on short term international currencies. Therefore, they focused on the development of a regional bond market to increase funding channels, which led to the creation of the Asian Bond Market Initiative (ABMI) on August 2003.

ABMI emphasizes the issuance of local currency bonds and development of the bond market infrastructure by promoting long term investment in the region. By developing regional bond markets to be resilient, credible, and a viable choice for investment and long term funding for both the government and private sectors, ABMI had promoted regional financial cooperation through tangible bond market development.

    4. Utilizing Sufficiency Economy Philosophy

An important lesson from the TomYam Kung crisis is the implementation of economic policies in a non-careless manner in accordance with His Majesty King Rama 9th Bhumibol Adulyadej’s philosophy of sufficiency economy, which he had enlightened Thai people for over 25 years, before and after the crisis.

The key philosophy of sufficiency economy is economic development in a moderate and non-careless manner, while taking into account sufficiency, rationale, and building internal immunity. It also includes using your knowledge, awareness, morality, and adapting the impact of sufficiency economy philosophy to create sustainable development and being prepared and ready for all types of changes, whether economic, social, environmental, and technological.

“Heritage” and “Burden” for the new generation

The TomYam Kung crisis was a financial crisis that originated in Thailand and quickly spread to regional Asian countries. Despite having occurred over 25 years ago, the impact of the crisis are still deeply rooted in the Thai economy, both in terms of its “heritage” and “burden” for the younger generation (who were not born during the crisis).

An important “heritage” of the TomYam Kung crisis are the knowledge base, lessons, and risk prevention mechanisms that were created to prevent the Thai economy from having to endure another crisis again. This is particularly true in terms of enhanced regulation by the BOT and relevant authorities, in ensuring that domestic factors will not be the cause of the next crisis.

Nonetheless, an important “burden” that has fallen upon the new generation is the amount of debt that has been created from the FIDF which was used to repay depositors and creditors to foster confidence for depositors and financial institution debt owners, particularly financial institutions that were closed down post crisis.

Whether they like it or not, the new generation cannot deny these heritage and burden resulting from the TomYam Kung crisis. However, by understanding the causes and mistakes and deciphering these lessons, Thailand can live with these heritage and burdens.
